About
Alcoholism and drug addiction is considered by many to be the nation's number one health crisis. These diseases are the reason for up to 40% of hospital admissions and result in the need for drug treatment in California. Tragedies resulting from alcohol and drug abuse make it a leading cause of death for young adults age 18 to 24. Alcohol and drug abuse also affect one out of three failed marriages and continue to take a toll on the lives of hundreds of thousands of individuals each year. Alcohol interventions and drug interventions have changed the lives of many and the The Gooden Center has helped.
Bishop Gooden Home, a drug rehab in Pasadena, California, was established in 1962 by five members of Alcoholics Anonymous and Bishop Robert Gooden (Episcopal) to help those who wanted out of the debilitating cycle of addiction. Since that time, an entire army of Los Angeles drug treatment centers has sprung up to help arrest the disease. Through all of the changes in the treatment field, The Gooden Center, a Pasadena rehab center stronghold has remained a stalwart of quality care.
The Gooden Center is an affordable addiction treatment center of alcohol and drug abuse for men located in Pasadena, California. The Gooden Center provides four distinct levels or care: Primary Residential Treatment, Day and Intensive Outpatient Treatment and After Care (treatment follow up monitoring). We also provide Family Care, sober living and alumni support and other supplemental services.
